What are Restorative Human Resources Principles & Practices?

Restorative practices are needs-based community-driven approaches to team building and resolution that promote inclusion, connection, learning, and accountability.

Training includes talking circles, listening exercises, mindfulness, and interventions to dismantle implicit bias. These practices are also utilized in Restorative Justice and Traditional Peacemaking.

What is Traditional Peacemaking?

Peacemaking is a restorative practice with indigenous roots.

The Indigenous Peacemaking Initiative defines it simply as "a process designed to get people talking and work through conflict".

There's no shame in showing emotion, every participant is given the same space and respect to express their truth.

What is Implicit Bias?

Implicit Bias refers to prejudice, stereotypes, or a "bad attitude" towards something or someone that may not be a conscious choice.

ALL LIVE EVENTS & TRAINING WILL CONTINUE WITH IN-PERSON SAFETY MEASURES AND VIRTUAL MEETING OPTIONS.
